We’re excited to be partnering with some amazing institutions across the northeast in an effort to reduce food waste — and we’ve seen some pretty amazing results so far.

Did you know that at Hartwick, we’ve seen an 18% reduction in food waste in Spring 2025 vs. the same time last year?

Well, we’ve done the math… The EPA estimates that in 2019, as much as 624,000 TONS of food was wasted at higher education institutions alone!

By taking only what you think you’ll eat the first time around and coming back for seconds later, we can drastically reduce the amount of food waste in higher education across the country.

If we can reduce waste by 18% in one year at one location, just imagine what we can do nationwide.
